Why we built this
We built this because of a gap we kept running into ourselves. A contract arrives, you have a day or two to answer, and the honest options are bad ones: read fifteen pages of language written for someone else, sign it and hope, or pay for an hour of legal time you had not budgeted for. Most people pick the third option only when the stakes are already high — which means the small contracts, the ones that quietly set your payment terms or your notice period, go unread.
We wanted something that closes that gap without pretending to be a lawyer. So this tool does one thing carefully: it reads the document you were sent, tells you what each risky term actually says, and gives you words you could use to ask for a change. It will not tell you whether to sign. What it will do is show you what is in the document before you decide.
Who runs FixMyContract
FixMyContract is an independent product, run from Türkiye. It is not a law firm, and nobody here gives legal advice. Legally, the service is operated by an individual — our Terms name who — and paid plans are sold by Polar as merchant of record. Your documents and account are stored in Frankfurt, Germany. How it works
1. Send us the document
A PDF, a photo of a paper contract, a Word or Excel file, or text you paste in. Nothing else is needed to start.
2. We read it clause by clause
The analysis works through the whole document, scores the clauses that matter for risk, and flags the terms that most often work against the person signing.
3. You get something you can act on
A plain-English summary, each finding in the contract's own words where they can be matched, why it matters, and what you could ask for instead.
How we think about accuracy
The analysis is AI-assisted, and we'd rather be straight with you about what that means. It is built to surface the clauses that most often cause problems — a strong first read, not a guarantee.
So we show our work. Findings point to the clause they came from in your own document, quoted where the words can be matched, with the reasoning written out, so you can check each one yourself and judge what actually matters for your situation. You should be able to disagree with us — and see why.

What we commit to
FixMyContract does not train AI models on your contracts, and Anthropic, which runs the analysis, is contractually barred from doing so (Anthropic's commercial terms).
Uploaded files are deleted after 30 days. Your report stays in your account until you delete it.
