How it ends.

Notice periods, automatic renewal, early-exit fees. A common thing to ask for: the same notice period on both sides.

Who carries the risk.

Indemnity and liability wording decides who pays when something goes wrong. How this usually works: a cap tied to what the contract is worth.

What you're promising beyond the work itself.

Exclusivity, non-compete, non-solicit and confidentiality terms often sit far from the section they affect.

Ownership.

Who ends up owning what you make, write, or hand over — and whether anything you already owned goes with it.

Where a dispute would happen.

Governing law, venue, arbitration and fee-shifting clauses decide what a disagreement would cost you in time and money.

Questions people ask

Is the contract analysis really free?

Your first analysis is free for good — one contract per account, no card, and no deadline to use it. You get the risk score, every finding by name and severity, and the two most important ones in full. The rest of the findings are listed but locked; you can open them with a one-time $9 payment or a plan.

What kinds of contracts can I analyze?

Any contract you can upload: NDAs, leases, freelance and client agreements, job offers, supplier and service agreements, terms of service. PDF, JPG, PNG, DOCX and XLSX files up to 25 MB, or text you paste in.

Is this legal advice?

No. This is information about what your document says and how terms like these usually work, so you can ask better questions. It is not legal advice and we are not a law firm. It also does not apply the law of any particular country to your document, and local rules can override what a contract says.

How is this different from asking a chatbot?

Can I send the report to someone else?

Yes. Every plan can download the report as a PDF or a Word file. On Expert and Business you can also download a redacted copy — names, addresses and contact details masked — or share a read-only link that expires after 1, 7 or 30 days. Masking is automatic, so check the copy before you send it.

What happens to my document?

It is private to your account and is never used to train models. Uploaded files are deleted after 30 days. From 30 September 2026, your report stays in your account until you delete it.
